Innovations in medical technology have greatly impacted our care of glaucoma, advanced contact lens, and low vision patients. However, even with great advances in wavefront aberrometry, topography, and medical imaging our primary care, and contact lens exams have remained for the most part unchanged. This course will take a systematic look at how eye care analytics derived from these technologies can be used to improve your patient's outcomes. Optometry has used these new technologies to diagnose its most difficult cases. We will review cases showing how data analytics can move your patient's care beyond the 21 point exam to the 21st century. Wavefront aberrometry, topography, and medical imaging are not only valuable in solving diagnostic dilemmas, but in providing better care and long-term management for all patients.
