Scleral lens selection, fitting and follow-up care is reviewed by identifying key areas of concern. Common problems and modifications of scleral lenses are discussed. Managing special design features including toric peripheral curves, reverse curves, front surface toric lenses and multifocal scleral lenses are reviewed. Additionally, patient education and collaborative care with other specialists is covered.
