The Opportunities of Blue Light Technology

The Opportunities of Blue Light Technology

September 14, 2017, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Blue light is a normal, natural part of our earthly presence and serves to normalize our circadian rhythms and normal daynight functioning. However, with the advent of our digital devices, our exposure to abnormally high amounts of blue light for many hours per day, at all times of day, pose significant daily strain to our visual system. This lecture serves to outline the basics of blue light, how it affects us in both the short- and long-term, and what we can do to protect ourselves.
