Pharmacology in ophthalmic care is a rapidly evolving science. It is important that all staff members be familiar with the drugs used within the practice. The attendee will receive up-to-date information about pharmaceuticals used in any ophthalmic practice. Diagnostic as well as therapeutic drugs will be covered, with an emphasis on how the drugs are used as well as precautions that must be employed when using them and the side effects one must be aware of.
